Job Summary

Description: The SAP BASIS Professional will work closely with project managers, business users, and technical team members to provide technical guidance and support for projects and initiatives ranging in size from minor enhancements to major multi-year initiatives. The Professional must be able lead, document and support the SAP system through key projects, including system migrations, upgrades and support the business initiatives to introduce new functionality and manage the SAP landscape.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support and perform SAP Basis Administration activities such as ID creation and transporting objects to different systems.
Perform SAP Security & Authorization design and build.
Document SAP processes, procedures, and plans, including changes, upgrades, and new services.
Install, configure, maintain, migrate, or upgrade the SAP systems as required.
Look into and troubleshoot SAP Basis related issues.
Perform regular maintenance and performance Tuning for Database and SAP systems.
Strong SAP experience in analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering SAP Technical Architecture Solutions on public/private cloud.
Essential to be capable of deriving an SAP Roadmap for the IT Landscape and provide technical inputs on Best Practices and Recommendations for IT Transformation and Digital Enablement
Essential to have experience in SAP Cloud Solutions with Real-Life Solutions involving SAP Hardware Sizing and SAP Landscape Designing.
Architecting S4 implementation and conversion.
Selecting the appropriate public cloud service based on compute, data, or security requirements.
Identifying appropriate use of public cloud operational best practices.
Expertise required on S/4HANA Conversion- minimum one end-to-end conversion.
Good to have S/4HANA conversion certified Experience in S4 HANA Conversion readiness activities.
Experience in S/4HANA Conversion (1709, 1809, 1909), OS,DB Migration, Installation, Patching, Upgrade, System Copy
Experience in Heterogeneous Migrations to HANA (SOH migration) using DMO Experience in SAP Sizing for HANA version, Classic version, S/4HANA Cloud version.
Experience in Designing, deploy and migrate the SAP ECC system in on premise and on public cloud.
Experience in HA and DR setup for HANA system and other databases.
Good to have exceptional skills in Data Collection, Analysis and Representation.

REQUIRED SKILLS

12 to 14+ years SAP Basis Administration, to include Oracle, and AIX or Linux OS.
4+ years of SAP HANA experience
SME for Payroll Upgrade and HRSP Pack  
HCM Security Expertise of at least 8+ years.
Certifications SAP, HANA, SSL, DB, OS, SSO, DBA, R3, BASIS, ITIL
Experience implementing or upgrading SAP landscapes.
Experience with SAP NetWeaver, PI PO configuration and administration.
Experience monitoring ABAP dumps and database locks.
Experience using SAP Solution Manager for end-to-end system monitoring and alerting.
Experience in SAP kernel updates, SAP plug-in, landscape management, transport, printer setups and troubleshooting.
Experience in creating SAP client copies and deletions.
SAP BTP Cloud experience is a plus.
SAP LVM LAMA experience is a plus.
Maintain a high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines.
Ability in all areas of technical writing skills for information or infrastructure systems.
