Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Alteryx Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data workflows and analytic solutions using Alteryx. This role requires a strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and analysis. The Alteryx Developer will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data-driven solutions are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business objectives. Our team follows the Scrum methodology, emphasizing collaboration, iterative development, and continuous improvement to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and Maintain Alteryx Workflows: Design, build, and optimize complex Alteryx workflows to automate data integration, cleansing, transformation, and analysis processes.
•    Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, flat files, and other data platforms, into Alteryx workflows.
•    Data Transformation: Apply data cleansing, filtering, aggregation, and other transformation techniques within Alteryx to prepare data for analysis and reporting.
•    Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of Alteryx workflows, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
•    Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for existing Alteryx workflows, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
•    Stay Updated on Alteryx Features: Keep abreast of new features, updates, and best practices related to Alteryx and other related technologies.
•    Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for Alteryx workflows, including process flows, data mappings, and technical specifications.
•    Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into functional Alteryx workflows.
•    Training and Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and best practices with team members and provide training on Alteryx tools and techniques as needed.
•    Agile Development: Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with team goals and timelines.

Area of expertise (Skills)

Essential:


•    Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Alteryx development, including designing and optimizing workflows.
•    Technical Skills:
o    Proficiency in Alteryx Designer, Server, and Gallery.
o    Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and ETL processes.
o    Experience with various data sources (SQL, Oracle, Excel, APIs, etc.).
o    Familiarity with Alteryx tools such as Join, Union, Formula, Filter, and more.
o    Experience with VString data types and Python scripting within Alteryx.
•    Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
•    Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
 

Other Skills and Experiences (Min)

Preferred:

•    Certification: Alteryx Designer Core Certification or higher.
•    Programming: Experience with Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
•    Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integrating them with Alteryx.
•    BI Tools: Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, and Power BI
•    APIs and Automation: Experience with API integration and automation within Alteryx.
•    Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education

Bachelor Degree
