Job Summary

Main objectives and Duties:

1. Achieve a secured and optimized systems infrastructure of the Group    

  • Monitor the NT Server Event Log, NT Server Hardware and also the scheduled backup software
  • Proactively manage and maintain the Active Directory structure, DNS, Web, SQL, Anti-Virus, File server services
  • Configure systems monitoring to closely monitor all the servers health, performance and capacity
  • Closely coordinate with the Technical team in making sure that all workstations are updated with the latest service pack and anti-virus updates
  • Carry out the task of changing, storing and labeling the tapes.
  • Developing the backup procedures on all servers
  • Invvolved in the design, configuration, maintenance, security and documentation of all systems in place

 

 

2. Resolve systems related tickets created by the Helpdesk team

  • Respond, communicate, assist and resolved all systems related tickets created by the Helpdesk team
  • Communicate and escalate to the Systems Administration Supervisor if there are tickets that are critical or that may need his advice

 

3. Assess, Design, Implement, optimize and Provide Global Support on Group’s Email System and other Business Critical Servers

  • Proactively manage and maintain the overall corporate Email systems infrastructure of the company.
  • Administer the overall security of the company’s mail systems by providing layers of security in controlling the spread of spam emails and virus attachments
  • Maintain the public DNS for Group’s corporate namespace.
  • Administer the Solarwinds monitoring software to proactively and retroactively mitigate or escalate issues related to any network devices on all Qualfon centers

 

 

4. Collaborate with Group’s  Network Team on any deployment              

  • Communicate all changes on the systems infrastructure that involves the network
  • Provide inputs on certain network deployments that affects the overall systems infrastructure of the Group. 

 

5. Maintain Software License, compliance and Systems planning             

  • Manage and keep track of all the licenses purchased by the Group.
  • Conduct periodic reviews on any possibilities of upgrading or procuring additional software / licenses to improve the productivity of the company
  • Evaluate new technologies that would further optimize and secure the overall systems infrastructure performance

Area of expertise (Skills)

Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Other Skills and Experiences (Min)

  • Advance knowledge in managing and maintaining Windows 2010 Servers
  • Advance knowledge in managing and maintaining Windows 2010 Active Directory
  • Advance knowledge in managing and maintaining Windows 2007 Exchange Server
  • Network Troubleshooting
