As the Letter/Print Shop Supervisor, you will oversee the efficient and accurate processing of print orders for our letter/Print shop department including business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (D2C) customers. This role will report to the Letter/Print Shop Manager, supervise a team of Letter/Print shop leads and workers, and ensure the assigned teams maintain quality standards, optimize processes, and overall foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Support Manager with overseeing daily operations of the print shop
- Managing and leading a team of print technicians
- Ensuring timely and high-quality production of printed materials
- Maintaining and troubleshooting printing equipment
- Developing and implementing efficient workflows
- Managing budgets and controlling costs
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and handling client inquiries
- Create a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee development
- Troubleshoot and resolve any letter/ print shop-related issues promptly
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet or exceed product specifications
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and take corrective actions as needed to address quality issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Ensure accurate time management practices are followed and kept daily
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years of previous experience in Letter/Print shop Distribution industry highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a distribution/fulfillment facility is required
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, and written communication and motivational skills
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to layout and Design
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
