This is an onsite position located in Highland Park MI.  You must reside in the state of Michigan.

What you will be doing:

This position is responsible for utilizing the BLS Inventory System to pick and pack custom orders using radio frequency devices and material handling procedures in a warehouse environment.

• Build a “pick cart” for order fulfillment and pick orders using Pick-to-Box system
• Lift boxes up to 50lbs
• Pick items/ materials from inventory locations
• Count items /materials
• Pack orders
• Quality check orders and verifying item match
• Operate Connect Ship and perform weight check function
• Maintain and complete daily forms
• Perform housekeeping in assigned areas
• Train others on procedures and processes
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to be Hi-lo certified (valid MI driver’s license OR proof vision meets requirements)
• Scale counting and hand counting knowledge and ability
• Basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge and skill with HRT (RF) Scanner and Pick-to-Box system
• BLS Inventory System knowledge
• Knowledge and compliance with Lean 5-S practices
• Knowledge and compliance with company Safety and Security rules
• Ability to solve basic problems, make decisions, and pay attention to details
• Efficient handling and processing skill
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English

• Handheld scanner (HRT)
• Computer scan and ConnectShip label printing
• Inventory resolution form
• Exception freight tag
• Stop tag
• Housekeeping tools / station
