Job Summary

 

Functional

  • Develops, deploys, and manages the Sourcing Strategies required to support company operations across multiple Sites within IT categories
  • Creates strategies that integrate internal technical requirement and utilizes multiple strategic levers to optimize value including challenging the status quo
  • Promotes excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across Qualfon
  • May involve negotiating multi-year/multi-million-dollar expenditures and putting in place regional and global agreements
  • Utilizes comprehensive and systematic market analysis for the materials/services procured to drive the lowest total cost of ownership and maximum value to the company
  • Manages effective internal stakeholder’s engagements and supplier relationships to the senior levels
  • This position will coordinate with global IT leaders for their global synergy projects and deliver value to the company.
  • This position will develop and implement global sourcing strategies and be accountable for the cost savings related to the assigned categories.
  • This position will maintain regular communication with suppliers and will deliver market intelligence to Procurement and the regional IT leaders.
  • This position requires interaction with various functional groups throughout the Qualfon group. This interaction will provide excellent exposure to various levels within multiple departments.

 

Experience- 5-12 years                       

Qualification- Btech, MBA, BCA, or equivalent

Location- India Remote

Working hours- Hybrid

Responsibilities and Accountability

  • Information Technology category would include segments like IT Hardware, IT Services, IT Software, IT Telecom (Voice, non-voice, Avaya), etc.
  • Collaborate with global and regional IT leaders to develop and execute the strategy for the assigned categories.
  • Own and sustain the development and execution of the category strategy through collaboration with business stakeholders and global/regional Procurement colleagues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business requirements, value chain, total costs, risks, and opportunities to deliver value to the company.
  • Bring knowledge of suppliers and market expertise to the stakeholder, including identification and development of innovation.
  • Challenge sourcing activities, processes, and existing practices to drive value.
  • Manage tendering and negotiations and formalize contracts when appropriate.
  • Be accountable for value creation aligned with annual targets.
  • Take responsibility for supplier management, implementing supplier business reviews and other means of driving supplier performance in sustainable, systematic ways.
  • Implements measurement systems that clearly indicate the performance level of sourcing strategy and supplier effectiveness
  • Maintain focus on added value, lowest total “life cycle” cost, cost savings and cost avoidance
  • Join supplier site audits with other functions when appropriate.
  • Ensure suppliers have the capacity, financial stability, quality & technical capabilities to meet business requirements and establish supplier development/risk mitigation plans as appropriate.
  • Work with business stakeholders for the development and deployment of appropriate supplier performance targets and KPIs.
  • Promote excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead or support improvement projects within Procurement
  • Ensure compliance and process standardization/improvements in line with global procurement policies
  • Ensure that business delivers, departmental goals and measures are aligned
