Key Responsibilities

  • Market plans in the states from which consumers are calling and in which the agent is licensed and appointed
  • Qualify for meetings and appointments
  • Provide objective information pertaining to coverage, annual notice of chance, pharmacy/network coverage, and drug formulates
  • Secure compliant enrollment into an appropriate plan

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid Health Insurance License in your State of Residence
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM with 90% accuracy required
  • Minimum one-year previous customer service/sale experience required and/or 2 years call center experience required
  • Previous work experience with Windows Web-based applications required
  • Prior experience in the health care/insurance industry and/or with prescription drug plans, Medicare or medical terminology preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare benefits, including Fee for Service Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans (1 to 3 years prior experience)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, listening and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to speak and write the English language clearly and audibly using correct grammar required.
  • Action-oriented, ability to implement defined objectives, and act independently.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision, takes ownership of every situation and follows through to full resolution

Technical and System Requirements

  • Desktop or Laptop (Apple/Mac, Tablets or Smart devices, Windows Mini PCs, Chromebook and Android systems are NOT compatible 
  • Operation system – Windows 10 or newer  
  • Webcam-Video available
  • The computer must have least 4GB of RAM and a Processor speed - Dual Core 2 GHz or better 
  • High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection, no Wifi, Satellite or Hot spot 
  • Upload speed of 3 Mbps; Download speed of 10 Mbps 
  • The Internet service provider (ISP) must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss
  • Latency under 100ms. 
  • USB headset with noise-canceling microphone (Jabra, Plantronics, or Logitech recommended) 3.5 mm headsets and gaming style headsets are not approved.
  • Must have available cell phone, tablet or landline required for Multifactor authentication
  • Only Some Work from Home positions will require Two monitors or a 32” or larger monitor
